Just off Highway 64, about a 2 minute walk from the parking area lies this absolute gem of a waterfall, ironically called Dry Falls. It's known as the Dry Falls because the path behind the waterfall (visible in the image) lets one walk behind the waterfall without getting wet (Unless the waterfall is in high flow, then all bets are off). This location does get pretty crowded since it's so easy to get to, so it's advised to head here early if you want to enjoy the unspoiled beauty of the location. Also there are some fabulous roads around the area - Highway 64, Cherohalla Skyway, Tail of the Dragon, Highway 276 and such, which are amazing to drive on during the early morning hours. Close to Dry Falls is another waterfall called Bridal Veil Falls. That is also special if there's sufficient water flowing since you can drive your car behind the waterfall.
